Welcome Note

Welcome to Soysambu Conservancy, a working wildlife sanctuary and cattle ranch of 48,000 acres. We do hope you enjoy your stay and appreciate the wildlife and scenery here in the Great Rift Valley of Kenya.

Soysambu Conservancy (SC) is a wildlife reserve along with an historical cattle ranching enterprise. We strive to utilize this balance for the benefit of this eco system.
As a visitor you have been given access to a delicate wildlife area, care and attention is required if damage and disturbance to the environment is to be avoided.

SC reserves the right of access and may ask anyone perceived to be causing a disturbance or damage to the environment to leave the Conservancy.

• Please do not give sweets or money to children - it encourages begging and is demeaning.
• Please drive carefully after leaving the Conservancy - there are children and animals en route.

• 4WD vehicles are recommended. We expect you to use sensible caution when driving through the Conservancy. If you drive off road or near the lake, and become stuck, you be charged a towing fee.
• In order to allow exclusivity, please use the Soysambu Conservancy Ops Room at 050 50622 to book a game blind, a sundowner location and co-ordinate Game Drives.
• Please report all predator animal kills to the Ops Room. We record these statistics for research reasons.
